5.0 Arrangement of Matches

When arranging matches – the Home team must provide three dates and times to the Away team, which should include two weekend dates and one mid-week.

The home team is responsible for arranging the venue, and for the cost of this – each team will provide an umpire (see below for Umpiring Rules)

The start time must be agreed mutually by both clubs – taking into consideration the travel time for the away team.

For following rounds, the match should be arranged within 7 days of the previous round being completed – see dates above.

We understand that club calendars can be full and so extensions can be granted – please email snsnationalcup@sistersnsport.com for permission.

Failure to do this may result in disqualification.

Teams unable to agree a date by the deadline must both inform the organiser during this 7 day period.  Sisters n Sport will then decide the date and start time of the match.

Any decision Sisters n Sport make will be final and binding.

TEAMS NOT COMPLETING MATCHES BY THE STIPULATED DATE MAY BE LIABLE TO DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE COMPETITION

6.0 Timings

U13 – 4 x 12 minutes – (3|5|3 Intervals)

U15 & Seniors – 4 x 15 minutes – (3|5|3 Intervals)

For a final game draw, teams will get 1 min break, no switching of ends, players may switch positions.  Time will then continue until a team leads by two goals.

The following overtime rule supercedes all other England Netball rules regarding overtime.

7.0 Umpiring

Matches must be umpired by 2 neutral umpires, with a minimum C award qualification.

Each team is responsible for supplying their own umpire, or arranging with the home team to supply both umpires if deemed more appropriate. The final responsibility however lies with both teams to provide at least one Qualified umpire.

In the National Quarter Final and National Semi-Final stages, B award umpires must be used.
