Taking Care of your Daughter
Sisters n Sport acknowledges its duty to safeguard the welfare of all young participants and protect them from poor practice, abuse and bullying. Sisters n Sport is firmly committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment for all young people to play sport, stay safe, enjoy and achieve.
Sisters n Sport follows the practice guidelines of England Netball who have developed a Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Netball Policy,
Procedures and Guideline that will apply to all individuals involved, paid or in a voluntary capacity, in Sisters n Sport camps.
Each Sisters n Sport camp has in place measures to safeguard each individual child. These include:
- All staff will be Disclosure and Barring Service checked prior to a camp
- At least one Certified Appointed First Aid at each camp.
- Each child is required to be signed in and out at the beginning and end of each session
- Any child found to be bullying, behaving in a way that is disruptive or dangerous to others will be excluded from the camp without refund
